Been too long...

It's been too long since I've got on here and wrote a nice blog about the family!!
Where to begin... Kids. Well, Miss Avanee is growing! She is so tall and skinny. I've been calling her "Lanky Legs." She is doing awesome in school. Her teacher has nothing but great things to say about her. I know she makes the teachers laugh in the morning when they have their dance time in the gym. Avanee apparently breaks it down and doesn't hold back on the dance moves she creates! I would love to be a fly on the wall. She is loving recess and art, P.E. and music class. Not a surprise, these things come easy to her. I love that little girl. She is so imaginative, sweet and complicated, stubborn and thoughtful, funny and kind hearted. I've never seen someone that is so in touch with nature and animals and all things us grown ups dont see or notice anymore. She says phrases like " more specifically" or " golly jeepers" and " on the contrary." Reminds me of my Dad, who was born in 1919!! Speaking of my Dad, I asked Avanee to tell me two things that Poppie would say if he were here with us right now. Her response..."I love cake and I like to be a nurse." Wow...she blows my minds with some of the stuff she tells me.

Abrams is 6 months old. Almost 7 months, now that I think about it. Geesh, time goes by too quickly. Kinda sad, but makes time precious. So my baby is FAT!! I love it! Babies are suppose to be healthy, and he is that. He's very tall for his age. Following his sister's footsteps. Actually they are so much alike its crazy. They look identical except for now with Abram's haircut, you can see his forehead more and he looks more like James. But when Avanee was 6 months old, she looked just like him but with longer hair. Twins, I call them. The connection these two have is pretty amazing. He stares at her like he's known her forever and he's just so darn happy to be here with her. And Avanee is so mature when it comes to having a baby here. She will hold him tenderly and feed him, wipe his spit up off his cheeks and gives him a big hug and kiss everyday when we get home from school. Very protective of him. Abram is sitting up, rolling over, kicking like crazy because he is so mad he can't crawl!! One day, son.

He loves to slap things, like the table or arm of the chair. He loves to stare at our kitties. They love him though, so I guess they don't mind the extra attention from a slobbering, cooing babe. Abram is playing with his toys now, so it's pretty fun to watch him pick things up and discover new things.

Iggy ( Mr Ralph) has said he can say poop and I swear I've heard him say "hungry" and boy does he love to say "DADADADADA" and BABABABABA." Cracks me up when he starts talking. He's so intense about it too, like he really is telling you something from the bottom of his little heart. He is such a good baby. Love, love, love my babies.

James and I are in love as ever. Hehe. Couldn't resist getting cheesy there. But that's how I feel when I see my husband. Cheesy, fairy tale, perfect ending movies. That's us. I'm crazy about my man. He's so smart and handsome and makes me laugh. Hell, arguments? We can't argue, even if we wanted to because we make each other laugh at some point. Anyways, I'll get off that subject so I dont make anyone sick or roll their eyes. We are getting ready to move, like in 2 weeks. We needed more room and a better, safer neighborhood. I believe we found it and we are all excited to move!! Avanee claimed the biggest bedroom of course. Little stinker.  It's going to be so nice to have a backyard with privacy and grass!! Perfect timing too, so we can plant flowers and enjoy the spring air before the heat come's in to stay.

As for our four legged friends...Pumpkin is definitely a lion head bunny. I guess she finally is full grown, because when we first bought her, i though she might be half or not at all. Nope, that bunny has a mane better than a lion does. She looks like a wild, crazy woman!  Yushi is growing up right along side Abram. She is 7 months old and had her claws removed and got spayed a few months ago. She has healed and is back to eating, sleeping and playing...just like Abram. Phoebe, my sweet and strange looking Phoebe. I love that cat. She has made Avanee so happy. Her and Yushi. Avanee really struggled when we lost our Yetti. It was heartbreaking, really. We would just stop at a red light and Avanee would just break down into tears over her Yetti. And when your kid's heart is broken, so is yours. But Yushi and Phoebe are little angels and love Avanee!! Phoebe is kinda like a baby, for the rest of her life, she will need to be bathed evey week, ears cleaned out every other day, fed, wiped down and I'll have to keep her warm with clothes and protect her skin from the sun. But it's worth it. She is awesome!! Phoebe loves to be petted, bathed, dressed and she likes to go for rides.

Well, thats all for now. I'm including some pictures !!

Love, Peace and Kindness to you all,
Cristina
